The University of Northern Colorado is rolling VoIP into residence halls over the summer; the collage already has VoIP installed in faculty and staff offices. The system is part of a campus-wide upgrade of communications and will include voice, intercom communication, pre-recorded messages and text messages onto IP phone screens. This fall, the college will roll out an emergency alert system to send text messages to phones campuswide.
