Default Do You use Skype?

Do You use Skype or something different? If second what is it? If first what do you think about it? I'm considering buying Skype and thats why I do some research.

I have never used skype but I have been tempted to check it out since I hear that they are offering free calling through the end of this year. I wonder if it is worth it for people that do not make many long distance calls?

I have heard a lot of people talking about skype and the promotion that you have mentioned. I haven't checked into it yet because I am not really sure that I know enough about what they offer.

I tried to use skype a little while back and I really did not like the connection that I got, it seemed like the person on the other end was in a tunnel and echoing, it could have just been something on my end but it just didn't seem to work out for me.

I tried to download skype to my computer and it said something about not having enough memory to run their program. I have a fairly new computer so I don't quite get that.

I am not comfortable with SKYPE. I find it somewhat tricky to configure.
I also read about it's vulnerability to security breach, though I have bothered to investigate more on that.

That is the same thing that I worry about with skype Rangan! I just do not know how secure they are and worry that my personal information may be able to be recepted by someone other than who I am calling.
